It's My partys and I will cry if I want ttooooooo!!!

FYI I didn't cry on my birthday!!!

Ssssoooooooo last night I celebrated AGAIN my 22nd birthday with close friends from home and what a delightful eveing I had. We started at a local pub near where we live and then headed into Covent Garden to a bar called Los Locas for ALOT of cocktails and tequilla shots all good until I woke up this morning with a banging headache. Never mind as I say you only live once!!! LOL So I had a fabulous night with all my close friends in attendance who helped me celebrate to the max.

AND of course I had a nice shiny (well less of the shiny) new dress that I purchased from Topshop £45 one shouldered grey number which I totally love. I thought I would step away from my classic LBD which I am famous for amongst my friends much to their delight I had compliments all round!!!

Me and my wonderful friend Jai, so this is one side of my dress.

Me and another one of my beautiful friends Eugene and the other side to my dress!!!

So I rounded my wonderful weekend off with a lunch and a trip to brent x with my fellow second rate diva Petey for some much needed retail therapy to get over my hangover! Unfortunatley shock horror nothing was purchased by either diva other then a frozen yogourt with we LOVED!!!!

Alice's Brithday

Well today the web team celebrated Alice's birthday, as well as two other members on the web team, and what a fabulous birthday it was!

For Ruth we bought Tiffany earrings, Natalie - Zara vouchers, Alice - £50 River Island vouchers... or so it seemed! ha!

So anyway, we did buy Alice a Vivienne Westwood bracelet and £50 in topshop vouchers, but I, being the comical genius that I am, thought it would be bloody hilarious to pretend we had bought Alice £50 in River Island vouchers, and only £50 in vouchers.
So set the scene, we're all in the photo studio having a mini party, Alice is first with the card and gift. There I am snapping away, Alice opens her card first, the shortly after her voucher. The look on that Diva's face was the face of a diva about to throw a blackberry at some beody's face when she saw the voucher and how much was on it...

Ruth next... Tiffany earrings, perfectly delightful. Alice was fuming. she turned to Alex and said between her teeth: RUTH GOT A BETTER PRESENT THAN ME...

And before you know it, I ask Alice to hold my H&M bag with Vivienne Westwood bag concealed inside... Of course that nosy diva takes a quick look inside the "empty" bag...

PRICELESS!!!

Isn't it gorgeous! Well done us.

It was a fabulous reaction. Alice was NOT happy about her fake "gift" and hated acting like she was happy with it - what a second rate diva! I think it's amazing how we got the River Island gift card prop and everything to keep up the act.

But anyway, after the cakes were over, over to Westfield we all went for a mooch around the shops and a Wagamama! Out favourite! It was a fabulous afternoon and evening with two second rate divas and the web team, days like these make us tres happy!

Anyway, Alice and I were fabulous to the max today:

Alice wore vintage Fur jacket, PriMark thigh high suede effect boots, navy vintage bag, and Mango lace print dress underneath the fabulous fur, and of course:

The Vivienne Westwood on her wrist.

I wore:

Mjolk for Topman shirt, Topman suit jacket, H&M kids black skinnies, Topman dessert boots and my little home made dickie bow:

Looking a little skew-wiff here in this photo, but I made this last night very quickly with some velvet ribbon, and it payed off big time, the amount of compliments I got today about it was great for my ego. And home made treats make it all the more worth while. And Alice could not stop raving about my outfit all day, she told me more than a few times how great I looked. maybe hinting a little too much for a date - haha, only kidding Alice.
Anyway, I need my beauty sleep, another day of storming about the office like some kind of second rate diva is waiting for Alice and I.

The GQ annual best-dressed 2010

I am sorry but I am going to have a rant...... so GQ magazine have a lot to answer for, or there readers do (or the people that vote for the annual 50 best dressed men) TRES angry.

So after a relaxing two week break I come back into work and have everyone telling me R-Patz (Or Robert Pattinson for those of you who have been living in outer-mongolia for the past 4 months) has been crowned 'Best Dressed 2010' by GQ magazine.(Silence)

It hurts me to even bring those words out of my mouth after my HUSBAND to be Mark Ronson won 'Best Dressed 2009' by GQ magazine which he totally totally deserved!!!

I mean look at him!!!!

Now he is a mere 30 on the GQ top 50 list!!! I mean hello....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So R-patz has beat some of the biggest names in British fashion history to the number one spot including Christopher Bailey who came in at 33 and Tom Ford who came in at 5. Some of you may think I am just jealous because Mark Ronson missed out on the top spot!? Maybe I am.... let me tell you a secret David Cameron came in at number 8!!!???? Thoughts please???

Is someone pulling my leg? I mean really to have a look at the full list yourself just click onto www.gq-magazine.com and let me know your feed back?

I hate to go on but ROBERT PATTINSON WON BEST DRESSED 2010 the man that only wears a blue shirt, a blazer a pair of tatty chinos, Rayban Wayfarers or clubmasters 365 days a year. The man that claims the reason he wears the sames clothes all the time is to confuse the paparazzi so they can't use the same pictures of him? Really best dressed?

And breathe...

Clothes again

Today was a simple day for me. A Mickey Mouse tee - vintage from Malaysia. Alex said it looked like I was wearing PJs! H&M kids jeans, Dr Marten patent boots, vintage belt, River Island studded watch, ASOS spike bracelets doubled up and siganture quiff!

I was loving my look today, very understated, and I felt perfectly safe walking on the stupid ice today, yesterday I was slipping all over the joint in my vintage loafers, poor things.

Anyway, today was alright, me and fellow team mate Laura were cooking up ideas for Alice's birthday prize which we will present to her on Thursday afternoon when she hosts a tea and cake party (a River Island HQ tradition) and she will be VERY pleased, no doubt.

Anyway, I leave you with Marilyn, I took her from my home in Portsmouth as my room was feeling a bit plain here in my flat, I have about 6 other Marilyn canvases to bring up, but I shall start slowly, and thanks to my camera and my lack of photography skills, poor old Marilyn has developed a Moiré on her face!
She's still as fabulous as ever.

Bye for now

Suits

I'm torn between two suits...

I own both suits, in whole. I know I'll never wear the silver one as a whole suit, but I think it's just divine. The Grey fleck suit is perfectly retro and versatile.
The craziest thing is; How do I pick between the two as they are so different, however, I cannot splash out on both, so one has to go back. What's a boy to do...

Homecoming Outfits

Well today was Alice and Peter returns to River Island Head office day after a long, very much needed, long break! and our outfits screamed chilled out diva...

Alice wears low back velvet black dress from Dorothy Perkins, low denier tights and Topshop metallic platforms.

I wear H&M kids black jeans, vintage loafers, stripey socks and Anthony Price for Topman peach shirt. and details included:

My long awaited armor ring, LOVE this... and...

My beautiful magnifying glass. I can be just like Edith Beale now, how I love her.
"Only Peter would be as crazy to wear a magnifying glass on a necklace, and that's why I love him," A memorable quote from fellow second rate diva about my new necklace. Love you to, Alice dearest.

And because I couldn't resist this cute outfit as worn my co-worker Laura:

Outfit ALL vintage, except H&M high waisted trousers, a girl after my own vintage heart.

...And to sign off with this post, 2 chocolate elephants flown in all the way from Thailand from Alice.
"Why are you photographing them on my ruler?" asked Laura.

Minnie Mouse I mean Maison Michel Ears....... Really???

So I was in Topshop in Westfeild on Saturday and I was in the changing room and I noticed a girl wearing what looked like Minnie Mouse ears.... On closer inspection I realised the girl WAS an adult much to my suprise, and I thought what an odd trend clearly I had missed that one whilst frolicking in Thailand.

Well Welll what do we have hear whilst adjusting back to lonndon life I noticed a number of celebs in cluding Lily Allen, The godess Lady Gaga, and The Olsen twins! Yet of course they would only wear designer bunny ears Maison Michel to be exact.

Parisian-based Maison Michel has been perfecting the art of headwear since 1936. Founded by French milliner Auguste Michel, the atelier is now owned by Chanel and is widely admired for its exploration of shapes and materials. Having designed haute couture accoutrements for illustrious fashion houses like Givenchy and Lanvin, the first ready-to-wear line was launched in 2006 under the creative leadership of Chanel accessories and jewelry designer, Laetitia Crahay.

And don't the girls looks fab in these!!!

Maison Michel headwear starts from around £75, but these bunny ears retail at £270 OR you could just go down to the disney store and buy a cheap pair from there!!!!

London Bound

Well HELLO there London (and everywhere else that is covered in snow)

What is going on......???? I have just landed from a 12 hour flight from Thailand where the weather did not drop below 30 degrees to this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a second rate diva that point blank refuses to wear flat shoes I am finding this weather incredibly tricky to manouver myself from place to place with the constant fear of chipping a tooth......

So I am very very unimpressed!!! Anyhow so enough about the snow it is already boring me, as is everyones facebook status re:snow!!!

So Thailand how do I descibe Thailand in one tiny word... AMAZING one of the most beautiful countrys in the world totally gorgeous and I would go back tomorrow if I could!! LOOK

At what I've ordered today:

Cannot WAIT! The Topshop ones were too small, and no big sizes ANYWHERE! Serious, I've checked about 6 stores and I get the same story every time: "Only brown in size 8, I'm afraid"
Thankfully Kurt has come up trumps, I didn't know you could order shoes into the store instead of paying for delivery to your home address.
The sales advisers at the Kurt Geiger store in St. Albans really hooked me up.
I cannot wait to slip on these leg lengthening, slimming shoes. It's all in the cuban heel ;)

Emma > Burberry

I hated seeing Emma for Burberry on Photoshop Disasters as it is obvious that her leg is carefully placed behind her brother's leg. Emma isn't the tallest girl in the world, therefore, her limbs are too long either. But to then suggest that they removed her leg all together is the most absurd thing I ever heard. Why would Burberry do such a thing, with all the money they put forwards for their ad campaigns, why would they choose to release an image where her leg is amputated if it wasn't what happened in the natural pose of Emma?

Anyway, BryanBoy cleared things up, and blogged a video with some real footage, yes, you can see Emma in real time hiding her leg behind brother dearest.

Maybe they knew it would cause some drama and one hundred million more people would see the fabulous fashion of Christopher Bailey... either way, I still love Burberry.
Thank you.

Best Dressed this week

Now all my friends will tell you about this strange obsession I have with Taylor Swift - I just love her, I think she is brilliant, and Taylor always looks stunning on the red carpet wherever she goes, I think because she is thin, as tall as me, and, of course, beautiful.

Here Taylor poses on the red carpet of the 2010 People’s Choice Awards at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre on Wednesday, and looks amazing showing us her legs that a taller than Danny DeVito, silver Louboutin's and detailed white dress.

Impeccable style, as always, a clear winner for the night.

When I grow up...

I wanna be JUST like Little Edie. So I have bought...

...A little bit closer already.

A Casual Day at Work... If I had More Money.

Ideas

This 5.16 Fringe Trim Jacket gives me an idea. I'm thinking 36cm fringing, however.

Christmas Gifts

Well, it's only 2 weeks late, but here are a few of the prizes I got for Christmas! I got some fabulous items from Topman (Above) from the sale, The boots were £35! Barg! And the rest was all under £25 in the sale. I also got a lovely textured suit from Topman, I needed a black suit, but I only like things that aren't the norm, so I got a very retro textured suit to keep my style in check.

The Topman jumper with the mountain print was on my wish list not to long ago, if you guys remember, and I must say, it is one of the most comfortable things I have veer worn in my life, I want to wear it all the time, But I never wear the same outfit two days in a row, let alone twice in one week, but I think this must become my staple item for the rest of my life. I also love the velor zip up jacket, it;s very 70's. My Mother stated that it was too small, but that's the trashy look I was going for, so there.

I got these fabulous items from ASOS! I haven't even received these items yet, but they should be here soon. I love the bracelet, I have it in a dark gun metal colour already, but this was in the sale, and I'm thinking of doing something I saw in Interview Magazine with my Doc Marten boots... All will be revealed soon no doubt.

I love the shirt, of course, it's only 1 of 100, or so says ASOS, and they seem to have all sizes left, Nobody likes it I take it... I love it. and Ziggy Stardust, what more can I say?

I got many other little prizes for myself, with money I received, I shall have to post these as I wear them. I've also been to Fabric Land in Portsmouth and picked up many little things to customize my clothes with, shoulder pads a plenty - I already have about 10 pairs in London, but I found the perfect shoulder pad that goes into t-shirts, I'm not hooked, they are completely hidden but add such great structure! That's right, I'm still championing the shoulder padded look!

New Years gifts from my Mother included a big bottle of vodka and more M&S biscuits (I got loads for Christmas) she is trying to make me put on weight, I swear! NOOOOO!

Anyway, after all those purchases I made for myself with my money, I still have enough money left for.. you've guessed it...

What a dream boat!!!

Anyway, I'm off, I'm in full holiday mode as I expect that lucky Devil Alice is, in Thailand. So I will post more later.

Lots of love xxx

Style Insider

Well, well, well! Look who it is. Alice, Laura and I were all featured on the River Island Style Insider blog with our fabulous style. Don't we all look great.

I'm gonna call my Mother and tell her how famous I am.
