Kelly Osbourne

I actually triple triple triple heart Kelly Osbourne and I always have done. I think she has always received way to much stick from the press calling her, fat, ugly, and a druggie! you name it they have said it about her.

At only 17 she was catapulted into fame starring alongside her family in 'The Osbournes' The no-holds-barred fly-on-the-wall documentary became a smash hit ... but growing up in the spotlight was too much for Kelly. Kelly turned to illegal drugs, drinking too much alcohol and binge eating.

But look at Kelly now, the middle Osbourne child and daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne was a finalist on America's Dancing with the stars. Where she spent 6 hours a day training and the pounds melted away.

Kelly wowed the crowds and in my opinion slightly stole the show at NY fashion week with an array of utterly fabulous outfits!

Go on Kelly!!!

London Fashion Week continued......

So the first thing I did this morning when I practically ran full force at my computer to switch it on, before I had even got my morning green tea was to check out yesterdays Vivienne Westwood Red Label show!!! and what a show it was, and I am being slightly bias as she is my all time fav! Slightly let down that she had one of the Geldof sister walking for her.. Boooooooooo!!!! But never the less what a collection I am so proud of the dame!!!

Here's what Sunday 21st schedule looked like...

9:00 Betty Jackson
10:00 Richard Nicoll
11:00 Margaret Howell
12:00 Jasper Conran
13:00 Matthew Williamson
14:15 Todd Lynn
15:15 Louise Goldin
16:30 Julien Macdonald
17:30 Meadham Kirchhoff
18:30 Aquascutum
19:30 Vivienne Westwood Red Label
20:30 Central Saint Martins

Of course Dame Vivienne Westwood knows how to set the tone of fashion week her collection consisting of her most famous draped clothing, draped macs, striped fabrics, her ever present logo which makes her Labels stand of from the rest and give both Red Label and Anglomania individuality. Her constant messages to the world which she trys to portray though fashion about being echo friendly and saving the planet and her latest echo trend 'Loyalty to Gaia' which was featured on the front cover of stylist magazine. But her collections never fail to please which is why she has remained at the top of her game throughout British fashion for the past 30 years.

Condolences

Today was a very sad day.
Now I never knew or even met the genius that is Alexander McQueen, but today I did quite upset to learn about his passing. I couldn't believe what I was reading, almost instantly as it was posted on the Daily Mail website. I instantly shouted out to the web team to see who had heard this tragic news, and Laura looked at me rather confusedly, as I could see she was reading the article the exact same time I was.
Being the Daily Mail, I was hoping their stupid journalists had once again, reported wrong. But this was not to be a usual crazy post from the Daily Mail.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of the genius collection from 2008 where McQueen used nudes, blacks and fluro colours on his catwalk, that inspires me every day.

This will always remain my favourite menswear collection of all time. I just love the mixture of fabrics and the nude and black tones mixed together with the fluro - a clear inspiration to me at all times - as I call them "Bob tones" - colours that suit my skin tone the most.

Anyay, I just wanted to acknowledge what a great mind Alexander McQueen was, and although very tragic, we cannot forget his family and close ones who will surely be missing their friend as we all admire from afar.
I really hope his wishes are fulfilled and he can be left peacefully along with all those around him.

The older I get, the more of my idols I see pass, but I hope that they continue to inspire me through life and always remember to stay humble.
Lord knows what I will do the day I hear about Karl Lagerfeld passing. This day will never officially happen for me!!!!

Outfit

Today I wore Zara high waisted trousers, Zara nude brogues, Topman shirt, Armour ring, Guess watch, silver cuff, silver beaded bracelet and large safety pin for neck detail.
These high waisted trousers are the high waisted chino things I brought the other day from Zara, but the fabric of these navy ones drape better than the stone cotton chinos, so I returned the stone coloured pair in favour for these fabulous navy ones which I got many-a-compliment about today. I felt fabulous.

Sickie

So I have been very ill for about a week now! I am so bloated and fluey, but nothing seems to be serious, I have swollen glands and a groggy head, but not full on flu. I have bloated stomach to the point where I feel as if I have eaten 3 pizzas this afternoon, but no other horrors. Whenever I become ill, it's never fully, it's just a symptom here and there but nothing over the top!! Why?!?!?! I will never have a sick day in my life at this rate.

Anyway, Friday was payday which meant I went shopping to Westfield.
I bought 2 major items...
They are from Zara, Women's of couse, and a snip at £50 I believe. I love the nudeish, muted tone to these shoes, perfect for the summer, I wore them today with black skinnies and a navy short sleeve shirt, you can imagine it, I did not want to document today unfortunatly.
Anyway, the other item I bought were a pair of high waisted chinos... I've wanted a pair ever since I saw Mary Kate wearing her's a couple of years back,

and I finally found a pair in Zara, I will probably wear tomorrow so no need for photograph right now...

Also bought Wonderland today... and I'm very happy that it's totally Janet themed.
Now I do love Janet, but I really don't get this whole open mouth thing. And it's not just with Janet. It's been a trend for a few years, none looked worse than Madonna's recent Dolce and Gabanna stint, It just looks sloppy. Leave it to the masters like Raquel to get this look right; she was the first person I saw this 'look' on and she is master:

The H&M Viktor and Rolf campaign was when Raquel became my number one favourite model of all time. Beautiful in every way.

We are not a trout fish.

Anyway, see what they've done here, photo shoots named after fabulous Janet songs.

And doesn't this photo shoot remind you of Marc Jacobs ads?
I love it anyway.

The End.
