DADDY I WANT A PONY!!!!

Well not a Pony.... But I have wanted a pet for like EVER since I can remember!! BUT my big bro is allergic... much to my annoyance. I have constantly asked my parents for the past 22 years if we can swap Andy (my brother) for a cat or dog... they have always said NO I have no idea why!?

I have narrowed my choices down to a Sphynk Cat called Grandma Wills. (named after one of my best friends) Controversial amongst friends and family my Mum saying they would put her of her food.. My Dad straight up saying NO way!?

But one day when I have my own house I will own a Grandma Wills... Scond choice being a Sausage Dog called Hugo!! They are just ssooooooo cute!!!

Again from the rents it was a NO!! :(

Yeah They say hello, they say ola and they say bonjour.....

Hellooooooo Second Rate Divas!

Well me and Petey have been off the scene for a few months whilst we settle into our new jobs!!! Still devastated from being torn apart and not tormenting each other on a daily basis or yelling Grey Garden film lyrics to one another... we now do this over the phone, by e-mail or BBM or when we meet for Wagamamas and shopping!!!

I miss Peter dearly on a daily basis...!! But I have settled into my new job well have made new work friends and am enjoying a new challenge working for Jaeger and Aquascutum!!!

I have also holidayed to Ibiza to do some serious clubbing and partying and sunbathing (not that my UBER pale skin enjoyed that part) can I recommended to all you fair skinned Second Rate Divas.... Hawaiian Tropic Factor 50+ Pink Bits £13.99 from Boots best buy EVER and as someone who has never done anything other then burn in the sun I actually landed at London Gatwick with a wee bit of colour!

Other then attempting not to burn we went to some big club nights over on the White Isle.... my FAV was Swedish House Mafia Masquerade Motel @ Pacha is was truely an awesome night!!! Even Londoner Tinie Tempah made an appearance to sing 'Pass out' and 'Frisky'!!!

We also had another fabulous night at The Zoo Project which is in the middle of Ibiza in a Zoo!!! OBV minus the animals!!! So I thought I would embrace this and go dressed as a zebra!!!

That was my first and only holiday of the summer :( other then V Festival which is just around the corner which I am TRES looking forward to!!!

For now.... XOXO Second Rate Divas!!!

XXXO

It's been long over-due. But a blog post describing my new job and what goes along with it is now here. Me and Alice have been apart (at work - of course we've seen each other for dinner at Wagamamas here and there) for about 2 months now, and it's simply awful. No one to abuse while at work has become such a hindrance to my character, and I'm sure Alice will say the same thing - she used to abuse me quite a lot of work - second rate diva.

Anyway, I have now been working with farfetch.com for about 2 months now, while also going to Malaysia for 2 weeks, so it only feels like I've been there just over a month, as my first two weeks were really introductory weeks which I researched. My job is to design and maintain the 'editorial' sections of the website, which I am slowly but surely trying to create an identity for. That's my job and I thoroughly enjoy it. Working with some fabulous people, which some of you might have spotted in the press, is also the best part about the job. learning so much about the fashion / business world and what goes along with it will help me to grow up - and fast. a far cry from the River Island's of this world. Don't get me wrong, I loved River Island - but it taught me nothing in the final several months I was there.

Working in East London is also the craziest place I've worked. with so much happening, sample sales a go-go, Soho house for lunch, Ruby's and The Breakfast club becoming my regular 'fatty Friday' places (actually it doesn't have to be a Friday, I'm a fatty eater any time of the week) I'm becoming quite a lover of the East - before me and Alice were always hanging out west, we were too used to the Westfields and Oxford Circus delights that I didn't know what to expect. I can say I have been converted.

My spending habits, however, have not been converted. They are as crazy as ever, I now own about 500 Hawaiian shirts, I've been investing in great jeans, trousers, jackets - all sorts. I cannot stop. But I must. If I ever hope to move out (which I am in a month) I cannot continue with this, and neither can my wardrobe hold anymore. I literally now have two bedrooms (one in Portsmouth) FULL of clothes. and I cannot believe how much I have. I could leave all my belongings here in my current flat, move back to Portsmouth, ad still have a different outfit to wear every day for several months. It has GOT TO STOP!
Now that I've told myself off, and kind of filled you in with whats been happening. I can continue to try and organize some kind of blogs for the future. me and Alice have agreed to try and blog three times a week, and with me moving out and hopefully sorting myself out, I will deffo have more time to organize these things. More to come...
