Christmas Wishes

For Christmas, everybody should be dressing up. Winter is one of the best seasons to crank out the layers, textures and the fun. It is my favourite season - as it is the time I can pull out my jumpers, gloves, scarves and look tres chic and feel tres fat after much food.

I have compiled a few items I think you guys should be buying for this wonderful season to hit the parties, work or just to hit the high street for a shop-a-thon. Or buy them for me, whichever works for you. I'm XXS, 28S and size 7 shoe. K?

Firstly these two jumpers from Topman Design. They are perfect. Just look at them. the mountain scene and some kind of forest scene on the latter. They are perfectly retro and kitsch. I believe I may have to buy the mountain scene, at £50, it's not bad, but the second jumper is £110... a bit more of a thoughtful purchase as it isn't too dissimilar to something I could find in a charity shop?

The next two items, from Topman again, yes I am slightly obsessed with Topman... is a plain white shirt with very pointy collars and a tweed bow tie. I am in love with monochrome, Karl Lagerfeld and all that... The shirt is great. the black button detail really helps it to stand out and the 70s esque collar really sells it to me. The bow tie is just a bit of fun, wear it during the day on an outing or to work, why not? I wore a kelly green shirt and an emerald bow tie from a charity shop to my Graduation and lets face it, I was the best dressed at the ball. Only to be hindered by the ghastly graduation gown and hat that flattened my excellent quiff. The bloody gown hadn't even been steamed. tsk. (Shirt, £20. Bowtie, £10)

I love this leather pea coat from Topman. This jacket is amazing. I love the retro 70s idea of a leather pea coat - Yes - I have just realized I do go on about the 70s quite a lot now. Probably one of the best eras for clothes, in my opinion. Anyway, I would love this coat, at £160, it's not that bad, but no XXS or XS left means I won't be getting this coat in time for Christmas. I can imagine this coat with some wool or tweed trousers, a crisp white shirt and a pair of simple black boots to complete the look, Perf. I saw some wool trousers in Topman Brent Cross today, I really wanted them but there was no suit jacket to match, otherwise they would have been mine in an instance. And probably very itchy. I don't care though. I really want a suit now...

This velvet suit jacket from ASOS is tailored and a snip at £70. I love the red, What era guys? that's right. And this B Store Nu Bandicoot Tie Shirt, it's cut short so you can't tuck it in at all, but I love the small detail. Why not create a different silhouette? Guys can have the most fun with fashion as it's easy to be different, so why don't I see many guys experimenting? (Shirt, £91 in sale)

And I know these Vivienne Westwood boots are ladies. But I want want want! Preferably in the camel colour, anything in camel is something I adore, I like to look naked, for some reason? "Camel" is practically the same colour as my skin, which I enjoy very much, and all year round tan but a nice tone, NC35 at MAC. But anyway, the boots. They just do it for me every time. Yes, they do remind of college girls who are trying their best to be different, but the leather and the suede together and the fact that they are chunky, they are quite elegant in a strange way - it really works for me.
I am actually thoroughly considering buying these boots as a Christmas present - TO MYSELF! (Boots are £390 from Net-A-Porter)

Why not, eh? Pay day is Friday...? For me and Alice it is anyway...

Anyway, boys, take note, and play around with your fashion, with Topman and ASOS on your side now, it's easier than ever!
