Want of the Week

After a long, hard day at the office doing graphic designy things, all one wants to do is shop until one drops! but nay, that shant happen until after pay day.

But that doesn't stop me from continuously searching the internet for the two main items that I want / need in my life.

But anyway, it was a pretty hectic day, and after a hectic day, everyone loves a bit of music to wind down, Kate Bush is my icon of choice, and on she goes, making deals with god and running from hounds of love. But today, I cranked on Kate, and it reminds me of something very ghastly...

Let me take you back to the summer of 2006, first year of University, the rest of my teenage life ahead of me, and an obsession with Kate Bush and a Kate Bush t-shirt...

MY GOD, how things have changed in over 3 years!

Blimey, the pout is still ever present, but goodness look at them skinny arms!! Anyway, I digress.

The T-Shirt is what I am really looking at. Look at it, in all it's splendor.

I found it in a one-off-vintage-shop in Portsmouth called One Legged Jockey. I gasped very loudly when I set my eyes upon this dream as I was trawling through the never-ending rails of the boutique. I was shocked, excited, scared all at the same time, and bought the tee straight away and not a moment too soon.

It NEVER let me down, always cranked up any boring old skinny jean ensemble in a matter of seconds. And then, BAM.

It turned pink in the wash just a few weeks ago.

The kind of pink that wouldn't wash out at all! I was devastated of course. so I chucked it out. I couldn't bear to look at it any longer without having a mental break down. And yet, I still don't understand the meaning of the saying "If you love something, let it go..." ??? What the heck?

Anyway, my want of the century is a Kate Bush T-Shirt that isn't just a silly transfer where u can see the edges of the A4 transfer paper from the page / image limitations.

PLEASE, somebody just crank me up one somewhere!

Anyway, enough of my nostalgia, Here is my want of the week, It shall never beat my want of a life time, but it's easier to access no doubt:

Forest Green being one of my favourite colours, makes this suit one of my favourite suits. At £150 for the complete suit from Topman, I believe that is a right bargain. It's dark enough to wear for a serious occasion, but still that tint of colour will make you stand out, and with dark features like mine, my skin will look even more luscious!!

And that concludes my want of the week.

Two very crucial items. I am in need of a full suit that I actually adore (I have an Anthony Price suit from Topman which is to die for and cost only £50 for the complete ensemble in the sale, but it's a statement piece and I want something for all occasions... like you care anyway?) And of course, the Vivienne buckle boots are always, constantly on my mind / want of the week too...
