Lily Allen for Chanel... Thoughts please.....???

So I am sitting flicking through my favourite magazine (British Vogue) and I love looking at the beautiful editorials and glamourous designer adds that fill this wonderful magazine and then.......

I turn the page to see Lily Allen modeling Chanel accessories which I am well aware have been gracing most magazine pages since early October (Don't worry I haven't only just caught on to this news) and I think it has only JUST struck me that it looks tacky... the whole schabang!!! I mean really??? Lily Allen sitting next to the likes of Audrey Tautou and Queen Kate on the the pages of vogue?

I mean I might just be cynical, or maybe even a bit jealous? Of a girl that gets to walk around with the latest Largerfeld on her arm? But we are talking about a girl who used to jump around in a frumpy ball gown and Nike Air Force ones??? I mean really? As they say you can take the girl out of the Nike Trainer but you can't take the Nike Trainer out of the girl...............
